Hand-carved in France during the 1800s, this small tilt-top table is known as a wine-tasting or vintner’s table. Designed for high portability, the top tilts down when not in use, allowing the table to be stored where space is at a premium (the table is less than 14 inches deep when folded). The top is supported by a trestle base with high arching arbalete feet, affording great stability. A fantastic patina has developed, giving the wood a deep brown patina, making our small tilt-top table a perfect side table or an occasional table for a wine room or bar area.
CONDITION: Good antique condition with minor age separations and old fills. Fleabites and light losses to the base. Very light wear to the top, commensurate with age and use.
