This elegant and large wall fountain features a cast iron spout directly above a 23 W x 12 D spill bowl. The fountain was hand-carved in France from 17 Estaillade limestone pieces.
11 stones form the back wall, which has a wide crown with cavetto molding. The recessed center is framed by a rectangular border with canted corners, mirroring the canted sides beneath the crown and above the back basin wall. Raised concentric circles surround the iron spout, forming a stone backplate. The spout is positioned in such a way that water exits the iron and falls directly into the spill bowl below. The water overflows from the shallow bowl and cascades down into the wide basin, which is comprised of six large stones.
The overall rectilinear design means this carved French wall fountain will work well in a variety of landscape designs from traditional to contemporary.
CONDITION: Very good condition with minor nicks and light oxidation to iron spout. Stone is a natural material that can change color with exposure to the elements. The spill bowl had a waterproof sealer applied to it.
