From Auvergne, a cultural region of central France, this circular tilt-top walnut side table was hand-carved in the 1800s. A versatile table, it can easily be stored in an upright condition when not in use, making it a perfect table where space is at a premium. The walnut has a rich brown color with a darkened patina in some areas. A tripartite base with undulating legs gives the table plenty of stability, strengthened by the thick cylindrical column above a hexagonal noix. Our 19th-century tilt-top side table is perfect for a wine room or bar area or anywhere an occasional table is needed.
CONDITION: Very good antique condition with minor age separations. Light nicks and fleabites.
