Dating to the 1800s, this two-drawer French commode sauteuse has Louis XVI-style carvings inspired by Neoclassicism. Both of the drawers have bronze pulls and a keyplate of crinkled ribbon and swags. The commode has been painted more recently with a white and gray palette.
CONDITION: Good antique condition. The painted finish is more recent, with intentional distress. Minor nicks and rubs. Two functional locks operated by one key.
