19th Century French Iron Pastry or Butchers Display Table with Carrara Marble Top

From France, this rectangular white painted iron, bronze and white carrara marble table dates to the 1800’s. These wonderful tables were originally used to roll or shape dough for the making of pastries.  They were also used as display tables in butcher shops throughout France. Today, a table like this can be used as a center table, kitchen table, or console table. The apron is a repeating linear design of arched palmettes. The legs are classically designed large C-Scroll motifs with straight stretchers. Round bronze motifs adorn the stretchers, and the table rests on four iron castors.

CONDITION:  Good antique condition with minor chips to marble and paint, some rusting to iron. Wheels roll very well.
