Late 17th Century Whitewashed Oak Enfilade from Burgundy, France

From Burgundy, France, this late 1600’s whitewashed oak enfilade has three drawers with drop pulls, and three cabinet doors with indented and raised panels to either side.  It has been whitewashed over a pale blue paint at some point in its history. The top has two planks and a small molding at the back.  There are slightly curved corners with indented narrow panels on each, typical of 17th Century enfilades.  Each side has two indented and stepped out panels, and the base is stepped out and curves around each side. Each door has a lock with key.

This antique oak enfilade has a wonderful light whitewash finish which still allows the grain and age of the wood to be appreciated. It will be the focal point of any room in which it is placed.

CONDITION:  Good antique condition commensurate with age, including age separations, some losses, cracks, etc as seen in photos.
