This fantastic pair of blue and white Faience and bronze lion candleholders from France were done by Emile Galle of Nancy (1846-1904). Marked and Signed. They depict lions standing on their two back feet upon a mound of C scrolls. Their front legs support a stone turret holding a scrolling bronze two arm candleholder and central torch.  The lion symbolizes strength, courage and leadership. This pair of French Galle candle holders will be stunning wherever they are placed.
